Lionel Richie released his second solo album in 1983 and “All night long” promptly became a number one hit. He already had a successful career behind him with the Commodores and continues to be hugely popular today with a string of further hits both as a solo artist both and on occasion with others.

    This is the record I danced to with my new husband on our wedding day.

    Lionel Richie is a prolific songwriter and singer. His work has proven popular for several decades and this track which he penned himself is further evidence of how much of a following his music still has today.
